I've eaten it. It would be very similar made with pork or chicken. Veal has bugger all to offer in terms of flavour or texture that pork and chicken don't already have covered.

Know what you mean there but try "Saltinboca" - a wop affair with Parma ham and sage. When those buggers get it right they bloody well get it right.

I'm not keen on veal. Had it on the continent back in the 80s and though it a bit "meh". I like to use me TEEF. You know?

I've seen veal in supermarkets, not sure how it's slaughtered or reared. You may find a high welfare online supplier but wont be cheap.

most butchers dont openly display/stock veal as its unpopular with the squeamish ill educated public in this country, but most butchers will, if asked either have it or get it, i love veal personally and its a shocking fact that most veal is sold abroad or ground up for pet food, when fat stupid cunts would rather eat chicken fucking nuggets, cos they feel sorry for the poor baby cows
booo fucking hooo

They can but even finding a proper butcher that isn't halal or kosher is a mission around here
Waitrose seem to stock it but only on occasion
